Lake Rosseau Information

Lake Rosseau is located in the geographic townships of Seguin and Muskoka Lakes, in the Districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound, about 200 km north of Toronto. Access to the lake can be gained through the villages of Port Carling, Rosseau, Windermere, Minett and Port Sandfield by means of Muskoka Roads 4, 7, 25, 27 & 28, as well as Hwy #141 . Lake Rosseau offers access to Lake Muskoka via the Indian River and the lock system at Port Carling, as well as access to Lake Joseph through the narrows of Port Sandfield.

Several public boat launches are available to provide access to Lake Rosseau from Port Carling, Rosseau and Skeleton Bay. Private access is also available at a number of local marinas.
