Fairy Lake is managed as a lake trout lake, and there are no lake-specific exceptions at Fairy Lake. It has a concrete public boat launch located off of Camp Kitchen Road. Stocking of Fairy Lake with lake trout began in the early 1900s and continued regularly until 2008. As of this writing, stocking is currently suspended as part of a study to determine if natural reproduction can be restored in any of the Huntsville Lakes.
