Gorgeous Fairy Lake sits at the heart of some of the most breathtaking vistas in the world. But people from around the globe also come here for another reason – the fish!
Fairy Lake is located in the townships of Chaffey and Brunel in the Town of Huntsville, which sits on the lake’s north-western shore and is home to similarly picturesque luxury real estate in Muskoka.

Fairy Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 15 (Muskoka) Region, Ontario, Canada, with coordinates of Lat. 45° 19′ 44″ Long. 79° 10′ 50″.
Fairy Lake is managed as a lake trout lake, and there are no lake-specific exceptions at Fairy Lake. It has a concrete public boat launch located off of Camp Kitchen Road. Stocking of Fairy Lake with lake trout began in the early 1900s and continued regularly until 2008. As of this writing, stocking is currently suspended as part of a study to determine if natural reproduction can be restored in any of the Huntsville Lakes.

Fairy Lake’s waterfront cottages offer serenity when you need it, but its lake view properties are also a short boat or kayak ride away from Huntsville. It’s also just a peaceful 2-hour drive from the GTA to the south.

Fairy Lake also has some islands peppered on its surface, some of which are available to own and some which are perfect for exploring.
Various parks are also scattered around the Fairy Lake shoreline, which is surrounded by parks including Conroy Park, River Mill Park and more.
There’s also Muskoka Heritage Place, a pioneer village that gives visitors a feel for what it was like for those first Muskokan with recreated and preserved buildings and a working steam train that visitors can ride.
Along with easy access to the town of Huntsville, Fairy Lake residents are also close to Huntsville Place Mall and its big-box stores, restaurants, banks and more.
And if you’re into golf, both Huntsville Downs Golf Course and Grandview Inn Golf Course are nearby.
